Ømad
5.0 · 50 Google reviews
Ømad is housed in Lohals's old bath hotel, transformed into a restaurant, bakery and games venue right in the middle of town. The restaurant is run by Jesper Hybert Andersen and Line Kia Andersen, while chef Niels takes care of the food in the kitchen. The focus here is on good taste, a relaxed mood, and dishes built on classic craft with a modern twist.
"Four women in town to enjoy a good meal and a cold glass of wine."
— Jette Haugaard, Google review
An old bath hotel with new life
The building previously housed both a bath hotel and a nursing home, but has today become a new gathering point in Lohals. Besides the restaurant Ømad, the site also holds the bakery Øbrød and the games venue Øspil, so a visit can be combined with fresh bread and a round of games while the food is prepared.

Classic craft with a modern twist
The menu at Ømad offers classic dishes given a modern twist, with an emphasis on good local ingredients from Langeland's own pantry. The mood is relaxed and cosy without compromising on flavour — a place where you can feel that thought has gone into both the food and the setting.

Open Tuesday to Saturday
Ømad is open Tuesday to Saturday and closed on Mondays and Sundays. It's recommended to book a table in advance, especially on weekends, when it's often full.
