New life in the old bathing hotel
The building on Søndergade previously housed both Lohals Badehotel and a nursing home, and stood empty for several years before Jesper Hybert Andersen and Line Kia Andersen set out to bring it back to life. Today the building holds three places under one roof: the restaurant Ømad, the bakery Øbrød and the games venue Øspil — so you can easily combine a visit with fresh bread and a game while your food is prepared.
Classic craft with a modern twist
In the kitchen, chef Niels is behind the menu, offering classic dishes given a modern twist, with an emphasis on good, local ingredients from Langeland's own larder. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, without compromising on flavour.
